![]() I have searched the web, tried all sorts of ideas and theories about how to stop this but most of the advice seems to assume one wants to get the device working - I don't! Windows update for the drivers seems to have no effect - it just keeps on searching!). UnfortunatelyĮvery time I boot Windows 7 it insists on trying to find the drivers for the Bluetooth Peripheral Device and it takes about 10 minutes doing this - this seems to elongate my boot up time by these 10 minutes and its driving me mad (even telling it not to search I really couldn't care less about this because I don't need to use the device. My problem is that Windows 7 will insist on looking for drivers (Bluetooth Peripheral Device) for the Bluetooth radio at boot time - Dell only ever supplied these for Vista. I don't need thisīluetooth radio although I do need the other devices included in the CAB200 and they work fine. The CAB200 device is one of these multi-function devices and part of it is a Bluetooth radio. This machine came with Windows Vista original and it also has a DELL CAB200 hardware device installed. I'm running Windows 7 HP on a Dell XPS420. ![]()
